Christmas chocolates
Belgian chocolate Christmas selection, from pralines to truffles
The Malline and Plumier formats carry the Maison's core Christmas range, each one filled with pralines made from hazelnuts, pistachios and cinnamon, roasted bean-to-bar in the Brussels atelier: New to the range? The Malline découverte and Plumier découverte are built as an introduction, while the Plumier of grands crus strips things back to single-origin chocolate for anyone who prefers their pralines less sweet. For something smaller, the 4-praline box makes an easy stocking filler or last-minute add-on. Whichever format you choose, every box is packed by hand in the Maison's own atelier, the same craftsmanship behind every box of chocolates Pierre Marcolini has made since 1995. For a more formal gift, the 3-Drawer signature box, one of the Maison's gift boxes, and the Celebration champagne box both make a generous centrepiece for a Christmas table or a client gift, layering pralines and truffles across several drawers so nobody has to choose just one favourite. And for the countdown itself, our advent calendars open a new chocolate every day through December, including this year's Advent calendar. Not sure which one to pick? Read our guide to choosing an Advent calendar for a closer look at the range, from the classic pralines and hearts to the limited-edition truffles that only appear at Christmas. Some chocolates earn their place on the table every December. The candied chestnuts, in boxes of 10 or 20, are a French and Belgian Christmas tradition in their own right, each chestnut candied slowly to keep its shape and a soft, melting texture. The traditional orangettes take whole quarters of candied orange peel and coat them in the Maison's dark chocolate, made from Ecuador and São Tomé & Príncipe cocoa beans, for a sharper, citrus note among the softer pralines, best kept for the end of the meal, with coffee. Buying for someone else this year? Our dedicated Christmas chocolate gifts page gathers the Maison's boxes, hat boxes and champagne sets built specifically for gifting, with formats for every budget and occasion, from a single praline box to a full multi-drawer collection. And if you'd rather keep a box for yourself while you shop for everyone else, our boxes of chocolates page covers the Maison's year-round range in the same Malline and Plumier formats. Start with a base box, such as the 3-Drawer signature box or the Celebration champagne box, then round it out with smaller formats like the traditional orangettes, candied chestnuts or an Advent calendar. Would you prefer something ready-made, our Christmas chocolate gifts page has a few sets already put together. At Maison Pierre Marcolini, absolutely. Our traditional orangettes pair candied orange peel with dark chocolate made from Ecuador and São Tomé & Príncipe cocoa beans, a classic festive pairing that shows up on the table every December. Each Advent calendar opens onto 25 compartments filled with a selection of the Maison's chocolates: pralines, hearts, thin disks and Petits Bonheurs, alongside a few limited-edition truffles in traditional Christmas flavours. Orders ship within 2 days (4 days for France), but December is our busiest month, so we'd recommend ordering with a little more room than usual if you need your chocolates to arrive by a specific date, especially for Christmas Eve. If you're local to one of our boutiques, click & collect within 2 hours is also an option if you'd rather avoid shipping altogether during the busiest weeks.Christmas chocolate gift boxes and Advent calendars for every celebration
