Chuao region. Type of bean: Criollo Primitif – 72% cocoa. Chuao beans are the rarest and most expensive in the world. They are produced exclusively and in limited quantities, as they come from a remote plantation which is only accessible by sea. “Chuao” owes its unique and distinctive flavour to its history, traditions and sensory qualities. Fruity and floral, slightly acidic, with sweet and sugary notes, and pure and bright on the palate.
