The latest Macaron of the Month puts the spotlight on a new aspect of this bean, which is as sensual as it is delicious. The top notes reveal an intense chocolate with slightly woody flavours, along with hints of yellow fruit that make for a wonderfully long finish. Hiding between the shells of the macaron is a runny centre consisting of a light, silky dark-chocolate cream, making for a gorgeous contrast between power and sweetness.
